Swordsfall will be on Role, a new virtual platform for RPG's!

Hello Swordies!

This update isn’t directly tied to Welcome to Tikor, but it is connected to Swordsfall as a whole. There’s a new Kickstarter going on that Swordsfall is apart of! 

Role, a new platform

The company Role is running a Kickstarter for their new and amazing platform! I’m pretty excited about it, as it’s a mix of Roll20, DriveThruRPG with a Tinder-like match system for players. Honestly, it’s the kind of system I’ve been looking forward to for a while now.

Swordsfall is a bit different than say D&D, and because of that trying to find a Virtual Tabletop system to use has been a pain. Imagine my surprise when Role showed up in my email wanting to chat.

First off, Summit of Kings will be playable on the platform at launch! And secondly, they’re funding a Swordsfall adventure to have exclusively on their website. That adventure, The Fifth Ebon Expedition, is part of what’s being funded by their Kickstarter! There’s also a number of other games being funded by the Role Kickstarter including a new Lancer book from Mastif Press.

I’ve seen how the program works and it’s real. I can say with full honesty that I was impressed and immediately knew that this was the platform where the RPG side of Swordsfall can flourish. With my fanbase being spread around the world, having a platform where people can connect and play the game in it PROPER is so important.

Check out the Kickstarter page and read all the details. It does a whole bunch of stuff and I’ll let the Role KS page explain it for me. But know that it’s legit!

The Fifth Ebon Expedition

For the content of this adventure, I’ll keep it short and simple.

- Debut of the crafting system
- Full combat rules
- 8 professions
- Mechs
- Tanks
- Walking tanks
- Monsters
- Missions

It’s going to be a pretty badass game, and it’s gonna be FAR bigger than Summit of Kings. So for those into the RPG of Swordsfall you can look forward to that in 2021!
